2009 in retrospect...

Seems like this is a way way backdated blog post where it should have been made...

I've always made an account of the year that had passed, but due to laziness/lethargy/ what not reasons... this year i've not been able to sit down and type. I reckon not many people are reading this blog anyway.

Due to failing memory caused by aging, i cannot remember everything month by month, but the most significant events are as follows:

- i changed my job. From Pan-United, i landed in Sato Kogyo. I really didn't make any plans to join here as my customers said its not as big as it was before, but here i am. And its already half a year since my first day. Job's pretty much ok; learnt alot; took alot of flak from the japs and stretched my limits for everything, from learning new things to self-control.

- i injured myself twice; guess this is the first time i injured my back twice in 2 months. Currently undergoing physio to determine how bad the back injury is, but the first physiotherapy totally changed my impression of a back massage. I now realise that it can be relaxnig, and yet, painful on the other end of the scale.

- i bought my first big ticket item (as of Apr 2009). It cost me over a month's pay. But i'm happy. Because i gave it to the person i love the most. Hee... =*

- i proposed to the person i love the most; lin lin. And even though the proposal kinda wasn't done nicely. (had to do part 2 for flowers and kneeling down XD) This is really the longest ever relationship i have been in. Through the good times and the bad, we stood together and by each other. Even though we squabble over some things which might seem insignificant to each other (depending on the subject-matter), it is always these little things that makes us understand each other better.

- i made up my mind to follow Jesus in December 2009. Even though some may think that it is not necessary so long faith alone justifies, it is also a sign of obedience. A friend told me that her bf after observing the ceremony is seriously considering this public declaration too. Let's pray that God will prepare his heart as he takes growing strong classes.

So, after 2009, what's my resolutions for 2010? Seriously, i don't really know. Maybe just to list it down:

- for all my loved ones to be healthy and happy.
- to be able to set aside more cash for my wedding (tentatively next year)
- to do well in my job (and hopefully get promoted/ increment)
- to grow stronger in my walk with Him
