Lin lin's sick, i'm also sick, LOL

Went over to have lunch at Telok Kurau after the 2 day 1 night camp lin lin went.

I don't know what ot say but 57J has got to be the most disorganized company compared to their sister unit. Told lin lin that at least she could walk out of the camp with her chest beaming with pride, despite the numerous tasks that she had to do (not because there was lack of manpower, but the leaders at 57J simply suck!)

So sad to think that a company which has the most support, the most staffing of officers to carry out the daily routines to push the dirty jobs to the 56J officers. Shame on you.

Do remember that God is watching, and He repays those who do good in kind, and also bad things in kind too. He is a fair God.

Anyway, i've digressed. Went to Telok Kurau to try the laksa and the carrot cake. But its not just any other carrot cake. This is the only one in Singapore that has fried ikan bilis garnished on the carrot cake ok! Too bad the chicken stall was closed early after selling out all the chicken. =/

Shared with lin lin about the bits and pieces of our family days when we went there for lunch, what we ate, the coffee shop opposite (which has now become a foodcourt of sorts) which was infamously known as "the place with rats" which my sis feared going. LOL.

And because she wasnt feeling too well that day i got her ginseng chrysanthemum drink, and i got one for myself too.

On monday the poor girl told me she had the longest nights ever. She couldn't get enough rest and had to see a doctor. She was given 2 days MC. I still had a thought of wanting to visit her the next day. Who knew that i also had to see the doctor 24 hours after she did. LOL.

It was also one of the longest nights for me. I woke up on Tuesday 4am, with a horrible feeling in my stomach. At long last when i felt like puking, i headed to the toilet, only to my chagrin that i couldn't rid myself of anything at all. I still thought i was feeling stuffy (later on realising to my chagrin that i had forgotten to open my windows), so i moved the mattress over to the living room where i slumped for the next 3 hours.

Realising that i was still nowhere better after a cup of cereal, and with a fever on the rise, i decided to throw in the towel and went to see a doctor. Even driving became an ordeal for me as i felt the left leg almost giving way when i stepped on the clutch.

Slumped over at the doctors until they called me in. The doctor diagnosed me with gastric flu as well. LOL. Told lin lin about it and she gave me a ^5 via SMS. Dots. Sickness also the same. My goodness. Hahaha...

Spent the day floating in and out of drowsiness after taking medication. It was the day where i slept the most, but it was also the day where i felt time was crawling. Hahaha... not to mention that my appetite was somewhat only 25% of what i could usually eat. Eek.

Thankfully i'm now ok, thanks to my mum for the care and the occasional nagging to eat my medicine. And thanks to lin lin for calling me now and then to check on my condition. Wished she was there with me though. Hee.

Well anyway, i guess i shall have to watch what i eat for now... =)
