Shootings. Violence in the campus. Murder. Fights. And you'd think you only hear about it happening in colleges overseas.
Who ever would expect it to happen in Singapore, let alone to mention NTU?!

Seriously, it made me think about all of us in general. The ppl who went through the two world wars vs the pampered 草莓族s. The people who had to fight for their lives vs those who could easily throw it all away. The people who were willing to lose their lives for a greater cause versus the people who threw away their lives due to petty reasons like poor grades, fearing of failure, fearing of being ashamed.
I fear for teachers and all those academic professionals. Who would imagine a student becoming a murderer?
And then again its all too easy to blame it on our education system, which tells us that there is no room for failure.
Ya, no room for failure, but plenty of room for dead people. I hate this society, the shallowness of it all.
If You would only see how badly corrupt and misled the world is right now. Lord, what would You do?
